Which Sponge to Choose
- The egg-shaped sponge (beauty blender), white, blends foundation with circular movements and reaches awkward areas.
- Oval sponges, white, cover larger areas and can be dampened before use.
- Triangular wedges have corners for small areas: white, 4 per pack, or pink, 5 × 2.2 × 2 cm, 12 per pack, washable at 60 °C.
- Yellow makeup removal sponges, 2 per pack, are washed at up to 40 °C and reused.
Sponges should be replaced regularly because they hold product; the pink wedge description recommends replacing them monthly and states that they are not suitable for people allergic to latex.
Brushes and Tweezers
The foundation brush is 15 cm long with a wooden handle and is described for cream or liquid foundation, powder and bronzer. The lash and brow brush with a wooden handle combs and shapes the hairs, and the set of 12 brushes is also used for lash extensions. The 15 cm stainless steel tweezers with curved tips are for applying false lashes.
