The G number shows the thickness: the higher it is, the thinner the needle. The 18G, 19G and 21G needles are 38 mm long, the 20G one is 70 mm, while the thin 25G–30G needles are 13 to 19 mm. Each needle has a cannula, a hub and a protective sheath.
For insulin pens there are RAYS 29G × 12 mm pen needles, 100 per box, made of silicone-lubricated AISI 304 stainless steel. The needle destroyer runs on 220 V and melts the used needle at about 1,000 °C. The syringes to use with the needles are under syringes and needles.
