TCAdent is a 35% trichloroacetic acid solution intended for professional use for local cauterization of the mucous membrane. The product is indicated for the treatment of pathological lesions and minor bleeding in the oral cavity and comes in a 10 ml bottle accompanied by applicators.

  • Volume: 10 ml
  • Composition: trichloroacetic acid 35%, purified water Ph Eur, flavoring
  • Mechanism of action: cauterization by chemical coagulation of pathological tissue
  • Helps stop bleeding and speed up lesion healing

Indications

  • Cauterization of local pathological changes in the oral cavity
  • Treatment of minor bleeding
  • Healing of granulating lesions by chemical coagulation

Directions for use

  • Dry the affected area completely and isolate it
  • Dip the applicator tip into the solution and remove the excess
  • Rub the altered tissue until it turns white
  • Rinse with water
  • If necessary, repeat the procedure at 2-4 week intervals

Warnings

  • For professional use only
  • Each applicator is single-use; reuse increases the risk of secondary infections
  • Improper rinsing may affect impression adhesion
