Mint Dental Floss 91.4 m – Professional Interdental Cleaning

Product details

Mint-flavored dental floss offers the following advantages:

• cleans around the teeth and in the spaces between them;

• reduces the chance of acidic foods attacking tooth enamel;

• removes subgingival plaque;

• regular flossing reduces the risk of tartar forming at the base of the teeth and even below the gums, which extends the life of the tooth, reduces the chance of periodontal disease, and improves comfort.

 Directions for use:

1. Break off a sufficiently long piece of floss, about 40 cm.

2. Wind the floss at both ends around your index fingers until about 4-5 cm remain free, which you will use to actually clean the interdental spaces.

3. Insert the floss, held perfectly taut, around the first tooth you want to clean (start from left to right or vice versa, on each arch). Make sure you apply controlled pressure so you do not injure the gums.

4. Start moving the floss up and down about 5-6 times to clean the interdental spaces as well as possible. Then gently curve the floss into a "C" shape around the tooth and pull one end and then the other, alternately, moving it up and down, to also clean plaque from the inner surface of the teeth. Do the same for all teeth, including the molars.

5. When you remove the floss and notice that it has frayed, it is time to release more of the length wound around your fingers and use a new, perfectly smooth section, so the teeth are cleaned properly.

6. Finally, rinse your teeth with mouthwash or plain water to completely remove the dislodged debris and traces of plaque.
