Eugenol - liquid for preparing pastes

Advantages

  • Active substance: 100% eugenol oil
  • Used for preparing root canal lining pastes (Endomethasone, Caryosan), for temporary cavity lining or for pastes used in indirect pulp capping (Caryosan, zinc oxide)
  • Can be used for root canal disinfection during the treatment of gangrenous pulps, as well as for impregnating dentin with silver nitrate
  • Has a strong bactericidal and desensitizing effect
  • Together with zinc oxide, eugenol acts as a bactericide and desensitizer and improves the healing process

Note

  • Eugenol pastes must not be used under composites, as they affect the polymerization process
