Product details
Composite material based on the unique nanotechnology developed by 3M, combining excellent strength with natural esthetics, improved fluorescence and excellent polish retention over time.
Indications
- Direct anterior and posterior restorations (Class I II III IV V)
- Minimally invasive dentistry (MID)
- Sandwich technique with resin-modified glass ionomer material
- Cusp build-up
- Core build-up
- Indirect anterior and posterior restorations, including inlays, onlays and veneers
Advantages
- Easy to use: exceptional handling, multiple body shades for single-shade restorations, bold easy-to-read labels
- Lifelike esthetics: excellent polishability, wide range of shades and opacities, improved fluorescence
- Unique nanofiller technology: better polish retention than a microfill, wears more slowly than competitors, exceptional strength for anterior or posterior use
- True nanotechnology: the unique 3M ESPE technology enables highly durable and esthetic restorations. The nanocomposite consists of individual nano-sized particles and unique nanoparticle clusters chemically bonded within the matrix. During abrasion, the nanoclusters shear off at a rate similar to that of the surrounding resin matrix. The result is a smoother surface for long-term polish retention
- Polish retention
- Wear resistance similar to enamel: wear resistance equal to that of Filtek Supreme XT. A 5-year study shows that Filtek Supreme XT wears at the same rate as natural enamel
Package contents
- Filtek Ultimate Body - 1 syringe x 4g
