InFibra flexible dental reinforcement ribbon is the long-term, reliable, fast and cost-effective solution for both the dentist and the dental technician for metal-free dentistry.

InFibra is used with resin composites or acrylic resins.

Dimensions: H 1T/1mm/2mm/3mm/4mm, length 50 cm

Composition: High molecular weight polyethylene fiber

Mechanical properties:

Different InFibra heights:

ø 1 mm Tubular is used for repairing removable dentures.

1 mm has the same uses as the 2 mm and is used where space is limited.

2 mm widely used for orthodontic retention and for intercoronal splints.

3 mm used in periodontal splinting and bridge reinforcement where the natural tooth is used as a pontic.

4 mm Widely used for temporary bridges.

25 mm Used for fixed and removable prostheses and for large repairs and reconstructions.

The specialist will decide which height is ideal.

In a short bridge, where the force acts centrally, the constraint reactions ensure compression of the "occlusal" fibers, while the "gingival" fibers, subjected to tension, are stretched.

The fibers mainly bear tensile stress, while the cured composite contributes to compressive strength.
