O-Star - broad-spectrum curing light

Advantages

  • More concentrated light beam thanks to an angle of only 15.8°, ensuring a better depth of cure
  • Light intensity may decrease as curing distance increases, but O-Star shows lower losses compared to other curing lights on the market
  • Light intensity of up to 3000mW/cm2 (depending on the working mode used)
  • Equipped with a 10W LED
  • Light intensity meter integrated into the charging base
  • The 360° rotating head allows illumination from any angle
  • The low-profile head allows easy operation on posterior teeth
  • With a wavelength range of 385-515nm, O-Star can cure most resin-based light-cured materials on the market

Normal mode

  • Light intensity: 1000 - 2000mW/cm2
  • Preset curing times: 5s, 10s, 15s and 20s
  • Ideal for most treatment scenarios (e.g., fillings, restorations, etc.)

High mode

  • Light intensity: 1800 - 2000mW/cm2
  • Preset curing times: 3s and 5s
  • Ideal for fast curing, ensures sufficient depth of cure

Turbo mode

  • Light intensity: 2700 - 3000mW/cm2
  • Preset curing times: 1s and 3s
  • The very high light intensity allows 2mm of resin to be cured in one second

Ortho mode

  • Light intensity: 2700 - 3000mW/cm2
  • Preset curing times: 3s*5, 3s*10
  • The high light intensity, with very good penetration, is ideal for orthodontic bracket bonding

Soft mode

  • Light intensity is gradually increased from 0 to 1200mW/cm2
  • Preset curing times: 5s, 10s, 15s, 20s
  • Effectively reduces resin shrinkage and lowers the risk of microleakage

Pulse mode

  • The LED switches off for 0.4s at intervals of 0.6s of curing. When working in a treatment cycle, this mode reduces heat generation, dissipating heat and ensuring comfort during diagnosis and treatment
  • Preset curing times: 5s, 10s, 15s, 20s

Check mode

  • This mode generates violet light. When special glasses are worn, caries appear in a reddish-orange color
  • Ideal for detecting caries, tartar and cracked teeth
