The Mathieu needle holder is a stainless steel surgical instrument intended exclusively for veterinary use, used for holding and manipulating suture needles during surgical procedures. Available in curved and straight versions, 17 cm long, it is reusable after sterilization.

Technical specifications

  • Ratchet locking mechanism at the end of the handle

  • The texture keeps the needle stable and reduces the risk of rotation or slipping during suturing

Directions for use

The Mathieu needle holder is used for holding and manipulating suture needles. The textured working end keeps the needle in a stable position, while the ratchet mechanism allows the instrument to be locked at the pressure required for controlled suturing. The instrument locks when the handle is squeezed and unlocks when released.

Warnings

  • Product intended exclusively for veterinary use. Not sold to unauthorized companies or individuals.

  • Reusable after cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in accordance with the Technical Standards included in the annex to Order 961/19.08.2016 issued by the Ministry of Health.
