The PRIMA Mayo Hegar Straight Needle Holder 12.5cm is a surgical instrument used to handle suture needles for closing wounds during surgical procedures. Most needle holders have a clamping mechanism that locks the needle, allowing the user to maneuver the needle through different tissues. The Mayo Hegar needle holder is an instrument with a textured working end that is short compared to the handle. The product is reusable after cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in accordance with the Technical Norms in the annex to Order 961/19.08.2016 issued by the Ministry of Health.
