Product details

The watch glass, 40mm in diameter, has very good chemical resistance.

Thermal expansion is low, and the recommended maximum temperature for use in chemical processes is 500° C.

In chemistry laboratories, it is used to stimulate the evaporation of a liquid.

When used as an evaporation surface, the watch glass allows more accurate observation of precipitates or deposited crystals.

To better highlight the substances left after evaporation, the watch glass can be coated with a film of contrasting color, or it can be placed over a dark surface.

Watch glasses can be used to cover laboratory beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks and more.

They can also be used as weighing dishes.
