Applications

Directions for use

1. Ask the patient to support the injured arm with the other hand.
2. Place the bandage under the arm, with the base parallel to the body.
3. The tip of the bandage should remain behind the elbow.
4. Bring the upper end under the arm and around the neck to the opposite shoulder.
5. Bring the lower end over the arm to meet the other end at the shoulder.
6. Tie the two ends with a secure knot.
7. Check blood circulation in the fingers every 10 minutes. Loosen the bandage if it is too tight.
