Insertion:
Step 1: Open the package. Place your thumb on top of the device at the ends of the horizontal arms. Push the insertion tube in the direction opposite to the T arms to fold the arms. Complete the folding by bringing your thumb and index finger together, using your other hand to handle the insertion tube and grip the arms of the T.
Step 2: Adjust the movable rod until it indicates the depth to which the T Cu 380 A device must be inserted, in the direction in which the T arms will open. At this point, make sure that the horizontal arms of the T and the long axis of the rod are in the same horizontal plane. Do not force insertion.
Step 3: Hold the thread still and withdraw the insertion tube. Once the arms are released, the insertion tube should be able to be moved gently upward until it reaches the highest possible position in the uterine cavity, ensuring proper insertion of the IUD.
Step 4: Withdraw the thread while holding the insertion tube still.
Step 5: Withdraw the insertion tube. Leave a thread length of 1 to 1.5 cm and cut off the remaining unneeded thread. It is recommended that the device be replaced after 5 years or no later than 8 years from the date of insertion.

Safety instructions: Do not force insertion! In case of abdominal pain, bleeding, fever or chills, contact a gynecologist immediately.
