The resorbable gelatin hemostatic sponge, measuring 10×10×10 mm, is a medical device designed for effective bleeding control in surgery and dentistry. Made of purified medical-grade gelatin, the product provides fast and safe hemostasis and is completely resorbed by the body within 3–4 weeks, leaving no residue and with no risk of encapsulation.

Applications

In dentistry: bleeding control after tooth extractions and periodontal procedures.

In surgery: stopping capillary, venous or minor arterial bleeding; compatible with use together with saline solution or antibiotic solutions.

Directions for use

• Cut the sponge to the required size according to the application site.

• Dry application: apply directly to the bleeding site and maintain moderate pressure until hemostasis is achieved.

• Moistened application: soak the sponge in saline solution, remove air bubbles and apply to the desired area.

• After application, the sponge can be held in place with light pressure or secured with a suture, if necessary.
