CHLORAXID 2% is an endodontic solution based on 2% sodium hypochlorite, intended for irrigating and disinfecting root canals during dental treatments. The product is used during the mechanical instrumentation stage to clean and prepare the canal for root canal obturation.

Directions for use

• Introduce the solution into the canal using a syringe with a side-vented needle

• Using approximately 10 ml per canal is recommended

• As the hypochlorite concentration decreases through contact with organic matter, the irrigation time and volume used must be increased

• Use of a rubber dam and protective equipment is recommended

• Rinsing with saline solution between the use of sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine digluconate is mandatory to prevent the formation of a precipitate
