Product details

The tourniquet with elastic cord and quick-release mechanism is used in medicine to temporarily stop blood circulation in a specific area of the body. The tourniquet is 10 cm long.

It is specially designed for small diameters and features a quick-release mechanism, ensuring easy and safe use.

It is also recommended for veterinary use.

Instructions for use:

The tourniquet acts like an elastic band and stops blood circulation below the point where it is applied. It must always be positioned above the wound or the selected site. The tourniquet is not applied directly on the skin, but over a gauze swab, a bandage or another soft-textured material. The tourniquet is used for limited periods of time (risk of tissue necrosis) and is a first-aid measure exclusively for extreme cases, when bleeding is massive and cannot be stopped in any way by other first-aid techniques, or for blood collection.
