Product details

Dermatoscope with halogen bulb, with magnification of up to 10x, for evaluating skin pigmentation, Ø25 mm, 2 contact plates (WEEE).

The dermatoscope is used for the preoperative evaluation of pigmented skin lesions in order to differentiate early melanoma, which requires excision, from non-melanoma pigmented lesions that can safely be left untreated.

Use of the test

A three-color dermatoscope could reduce the excision of benign melanocytic tumors and thus help prevent unnecessary minor surgery and patient morbidity.

Features:

  1. Halogen light for true tissue color.

  2. Graduated skin contact plate for measuring pigmented skin lesions.

  3. Significant 10x magnification.

  4. This product has a focal range of +/- 5D (correction).

  5. The focal distance is 25 mm.

  6. Autoclavable contact plates. This dermatoscope is available with a reliable bayonet locking system and is equipped with a 2.5 V xenon/halogen lamp powered by two 1.5 V "C" batteries.

This dermatoscope is packaged in a zippered case with a vacuum-formed interior insert.
