Stevens tenotomy scissors are a stainless steel surgical instrument intended for procedures that require precise cuts in narrow, small areas. They are used mainly in ophthalmology, neurosurgery and other delicate surgical procedures involving tissue dissection and cutting.

Directions for use and sterilization

  • The product is delivered non-sterile.
  • Before reuse, the instrument must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized according to technical standards.
  • Sterilization is performed with moist heat in an autoclave at 134°C for 3 minutes.
  • The product can be resterilized for a maximum of 50 cycles.
