Product details

The synthetic rubber tourniquet acts as an elastic band and stops blood circulation below the point where it is applied. It must always be placed above the injured area. It is not applied directly to the skin, but over a gauze swab, a bandage or another soft-textured material. Note the exact time the tourniquet was applied. The tourniquet is used for limited periods of time (risk of tissue necrosis) and is a first-aid measure exclusively for extreme cases, when bleeding is massive and cannot be stopped in any way by other first-aid techniques.
