Microscope cover slips provide excellent flatness, free of impurities or defects, with a smooth surface, thickness: 0.13-0.17 mm, ground edges, packed in plastic boxes. They are used in laboratories to cover specimens placed on slides. They can also be used to cover microscopic preparations.
