Product details
Histological paraffin with polymers is used for histological preparations. The bag contains 2kg.
The mixture of paraffin (aliphatic hydrocarbons) and polymer-based additive (0.3% concentration) is used for embedding histological samples.
All mixtures are purified by triple filtration before being solidified into pellets.
The products do not contain dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
Characteristics:
• Melting point: 56–58°C;
• Oil content (ASTM D721): approx. 0.5%;
• Form: Pellets; • Color: White.
