Gen-OS - heterologous bone and collagen matrix, a substitute for autologous or allogeneic bone

Advantages

  • Bone and collagen matrix of natural heterologous origin, osteoconductive, resorbable, biocompatible, hygroscopic
  • Slightly radiopaque
  • Dried heterologous cortico-cancellous collagenated bone mix
  • Structure similar to human bone (matrix-like and porous form), with osteoconductive properties
  • Thanks to its collagen content, the material has chemotactic properties and facilitates blood clotting and the subsequent invasion of repair and regenerative cells
  • Gradually resorbable
  • Provides adequate support for new bone formation and neo-angiogenesis
  • Hydrophilic Dual-Phase xenograft, which has also been used in combination with growth factors
  • Predictable results in various surgical procedures

Indications

  • For collagen filling of non-infected, non-sclerotic, non-load-bearing and well-vascularized bone defects

Use

  • Gen-Os must be hydrated with sterile saline solution before use
  • For improved handling, OsteoBiol Gen-Os can be mixed with other devices, such as OsteoBiol TSV Gel: the mixture must be placed in the recipient site with sterile instruments

Storage conditions

  • Store away from direct heat sources and sunlight, in a dry, clean place, under the conditions indicated on the label
