MicroSnap Enterobacteriaceae is a rapid test for the detection and enumeration of bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family, intended for use in quality control of food, water and surfaces. The test is based on a bioluminogenic reaction and requires an EnSure Touch luminometer to measure the results.

Technical specifications

  • Operating principle: bioluminogenic reaction with luminometric measurement
  • Time to results: 6–8 hours
  • Result type: quantitative (6–7 hours) and presence/absence (8 hours)
  • Measuring range: 1–10,000 CFU
  • Detection limit: 0–50,000 CFU in 6–8 hours
  • Microorganisms detected: Enterobacteriaceae family, including indicators and potential pathogens
  • Required equipment: EnSure Touch luminometer
