Oxoklin is a peracetic acid-based cold chemical sterilant intended for industrial and professional use in medical and dental facilities, laboratories and areas with high hygiene standards. It acts rapidly through cellular oxidation against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, mycobacteria, viruses and spores, remaining effective even in the presence of blood, pus and other organic residues.
Technical specifications
- Appearance: colorless, translucent liquid
- Odor: characteristic vinegar odor
- pH of 5% solution: 2–3
- Solubility: water-soluble
- Mechanism of action: cellular oxidation
- Antimicrobial spectrum: bactericidal, yeasticidal, fungicidal, virucidal, mycobactericidal/tuberculocidal and sporicidal
- Effective concentrations: 1–5%
- Contact time: 5–15 minutes, depending on the intended use and type of microorganisms
- Efficacy in the presence of organic load: proven
- Efficacy at low temperatures: confirmed
- Decomposition products: acetic acid, water and oxygen
- Tested according to: ISO 14885:2022

Directions for use
- Apply by spraying, wiping or immersion
- Follow the recommended concentrations and contact times
- For medical instruments and devices, rinsing with sterile water after disinfection is required, according to the instructions in the technical data sheet
- No rinsing required on hard surfaces that do not come into direct contact with patients or food products
Warnings
- The product is intended for use on surfaces that do not come into direct contact with food or animal feed
- Follow the instructions in the technical data sheet for correct application
