Product details

Cervical sampling brush, PE pine tree shape, sterile

Packaging: 50 pcs

Used for collecting cells from the cervix.

The central bristles reach the endocervix, while the shorter bristles reach the ectocervical area and the "T" transformation zone, where certain types of uterine cancer may originate.

This instrument allows sampling of secretions from both the endocervical and exocervical areas in a single maneuver.

Directions for use: The central bristles of the brush are inserted with gentle pressure into the endocervical canal while the lateral bristles bend over the exocervix. The instrument, held between the thumb and index finger, is rotated clockwise by hand 5 times, through 360˚.
