PRIMA nylon surgical suture is a non-absorbable monofilament material intended for soft tissue suturing in surgical procedures. Each pack contains 12 sterile sutures, fitted with a 20 mm atraumatic round-bodied stainless steel needle and 75 cm blue thread.

Directions for use

• Open the outer packaging on a clean surface by pulling the two free ends apart, without damaging the sterile pouch.

• After opening the outer packaging, touch the sterile pouch only with sterile gloves and open it by pulling the top end.

• Check the strength of the knot.

• Grasp the stainless steel needle at its rear half.

• Remove excess suture material.

• Avoid damaging the suture material through contact with surgical instruments (tweezers, forceps, etc.).

• After use, suture needles must be discarded in sharps disposal containers.
