Directions for use

• Open the outer packaging on a clean surface by pulling the two free ends apart, without damaging the sterile pouch containing the suture material

• After opening the outer packaging, the sterile pouch must be touched only with sterile gloves and can be opened by pulling the top end of the pouch

• Check the strength of the knot

• Avoid damaging the suture material through contact with surgical instruments (needle holders, forceps, etc.)

• The stainless steel needle should be grasped at its rear half

• Remove any excess suture material

• After use, suture needles must be discarded in sharps disposal containers
