The PRIMA rectal tube, 30 cm, sterile, has a specific head, a cylindrical tip and 2 side eyes, and is used for enemas in medical practices, clinics and hospitals.

Instructions for use:

Lubricate the rectal tube along a length of 5-7 cm.

Separate the patient's buttocks with your left hand and, with your right hand, insert the tube 7-10 cm through the anus into the rectum, perpendicular to the underlying surface, with the tip pointing forward toward the bladder, using rotating movements until you overcome the resistance of the anal sphincter.

If resistance persists after passing the anus, let a small amount of the enema solution flow, withdraw the tube slightly and then continue insertion, asking the patient to take a few deep breaths - Do not force the tube in!!!

Direct the tip of the tube along the axis of the rectal ampulla.

Open the line and introduce the solution slowly over 5 - 10 minutes, communicating with the patient at all times to find out how they feel.

Before the solution runs out, clamp the tube, remove the rectal tube and place it in the kidney dish.
