The Microsnap 9 ml Total/EC/CC test medium from Klintensiv is a rapid test for detecting and enumerating total microorganism counts based on a bioluminogenic reaction.

The test delivers results in less than 7 hours and is intended for medical laboratories, quality control laboratories and institutions that require rapid microbiological analyses.

Technical specifications

  • Principle: bioluminogenic reaction that produces light in the presence of microorganisms
  • Analysis time: less than 7 hours
  • Measuring range: 100–10,000 CFU
  • Result type: quantitative, comparable to traditional methods
  • Sensitivity: detects microorganisms below 100 CFU in 7 hours
  • Detection spectrum: anaerobic, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria
  • Required equipment: EnSure Touch luminometer
