Product details

The marker is similar to a felt-tip pen, and the ink flows from the internal reservoir as the tip moves across the surface of the skin. 

They are CE marked and supplied in sterile packaging with a ruler. 

Medical applications: Skin markers are used to apply ink directly to a patient's skin. 

Marking the patient's skin is important in a number of clinical settings and for various reasons, but the main functions may be: 

  • ensuring surgery is performed at the correct site; 
  • marking an important internal anatomical feature identified during diagnostic imaging; 
  • targeting non-invasive treatments; 
  • planning the surgical approach; 
  • ensuring natural realignment of skin flaps during wound closure.
