System for continuous post-operative surgical drainage with controlled suction, with an exudate collection reservoir available in different capacities.

• The suction level is 100÷120 mm Hg.

• The system is equipped with an anti-reflux valve.

• The bellows-type reservoir is equipped with a fixing rod for hanging the drain near the patient. The reservoir is to be connected to a collection bag for the drained fluids.

• The bag, with a capacity of 600 ml, is connected to the reservoir via a standard luer connector and is fitted with an anti-reflux valve and a drain tap. A 100 cm PVC suction tube with a universal connector can also be connected to the reservoir

• The connecting tube is made of transparent, medical-grade, pyrogen-free, non-toxic, flexible, thermosensitive PVC.

The post-operative drainage system is packaged in a single sterile box.

Each batch undergoes the following tests required by the Official Italian Pharmacopoeia for all products sterilized with ethylene oxide: sterility testing with spore strips; determination of ETO residues, which must be below 0.5 mg/l.

• Sterile.

• The product is sterile if the packaging is intact.

• Single-use product.

• Discard after each single use; do not reuse.

• Avoid exposure to high temperatures and ultraviolet rays during storage.
