Product details

The 2-way pediatric Foley urinary catheter, 10 pcs, is used in patients under anesthesia or sedated for surgery or other medical care, in comatose patients, in some patients with incontinence problems, in patients with acute urinary retention, after urethral surgery, and in patients with kidney conditions whose urine output must be measured constantly and accurately.

A Foley catheter is a flexible tube that is usually passed through the urethra and into the bladder. The tube has two separate channels.

One is open at both ends and allows urine to drain into a collection bag. The other has a valve at the outer end and connects to a balloon. The balloon is inflated with sterile water once inside the bladder so that it does not slip out.
