Instruments go into the pouch clean and completely dry: the sheets warn that moisture can burn and burst the packaging. From a roll, cut a piece with 2.5 cm extra at each end if you heat-seal, or 5 cm if you tape it closed: fold the end twice by 1.25 cm and seal it with indicator tape. The sheets give 160 °C for 2 hours or 170 °C for one hour. For Romanian healthcare facilities, art. 44 of the rules approved by Minister of Health Order no. 1761/2021 allows dry heat sterilization only in microbiology laboratories.
