PRIMA nylon surgical suture is a sterile, non-absorbable monofilament material intended for soft tissue suturing in surgical procedures. Fitted with a Tapercut needle with a sharp triangular tip and continuous round body, it provides uniform tissue penetration and secure knot holding.

Directions for use

1. Open the outer packaging on a clean surface by pulling the two free ends, without damaging the inner sterile pouch.

2. Touch the sterile pouch only with sterile gloves and open it by pulling the top end.

3. Check the strength of the tied knot. Avoid damaging the suture through contact with surgical instruments (tweezers, forceps, etc.).

4. Grasp the needle by its rear half.

5. Remove excess suture material.

6. After use, suture needles must be discarded in sharps waste containers.
