Product details

PRIMA blood glucose test strips are used with the PRIMA glucose meter to test the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood, and only fresh capillary whole blood samples should be used.

People with diabetes can use this system to monitor their glycemic control.

The glucose meter must not be used to diagnose diabetes or to test newborns.

Test principle: The glucose meter uses the latest biosensing technology, measuring blood glucose concentration easily and accurately.

When a blood sample is applied to the strip, a small electric current is produced by the reaction between the chemicals on the strip and the glucose.

The meter measures this current and shows the result in the display window.
