Oxoklin Powder is a high-level disinfectant in the form of a soluble powder that generates peracetic acid in situ.

Intended for industrial, professional and general public use, it provides rapid disinfection and control of odors caused by microorganisms on surfaces, equipment and utensils.

Technical Specifications

  • Form: white powder, water-soluble
  • pH of 0.5% solution: 9.5 ± 0.5
  • Active mechanism: in situ generation of peracetic acid
  • Bactericidal action: 5–15 minutes
  • Yeasticidal/mycobactericidal action: 5–15 minutes
  • Fungicidal action: 15–60 minutes
  • Virucidal spectrum according to EN 14476: enveloped viruses in 5 minutes; viruses in general in 30 minutes
  • Efficacy according to: EN 13697, EN 1276, EN 1650, EN 14476, EN 14348; in accordance with ISO 14885:2022
  • Chemical stability and activity at low temperatures
  • Biodegradable
  • Usage window: 8 hours after preparation
  • Activation time after dilution: 15 minutes at approximately 30°C

Concentration and Dosing Options

  • Working concentrations: 0.5–5%
  • 0.5% concentration: for quick surface treatment
  • 5% concentration: for fungicidal disinfection of utensils (20-minute immersion)
  • Measuring scoop included: approximately 17 g per dilution

Applications and Methods of Use

  • Spraying, wiping, immersion
  • Equipment and containers
  • Packaging lines
  • Storage, transport and serving areas for food and beverages
  • Consumer utensils (immersion at 5% concentration, contact time 20 minutes)
  • Rinsing required only on surfaces in direct contact with food

Directions for Use

  • Dissolve in water at approximately 30°C
  • Wait 15 minutes for full activation
  • Apply using the chosen method (spraying, wiping or immersion)
  • Observe the target time for the desired effect: bactericidal 5 minutes; fungicidal 15–60 minutes; general virucidal 30 minutes
  • Rinse only surfaces in direct contact with food

Material Compatibility

  • Compatible: stainless steel, PVC, PP, PE, silicone, glass, rubber
  • Not recommended for: copper (corrosive), iron (corrosive), damaged chrome/nickel

Warnings

  • Label the prepared solution with the time of preparation
  • Close the container after preparation
  • The solution remains safe to use for 8 hours after preparation
