SYNTEX root canal sealer paste 10 g is an endodontic material intended for root canal filling of permanent teeth. The product comes as two pastes with a 1:1 mixing ratio and is compatible with all sealing techniques, including thermal methods.

Technical specifications

  • Type: Epoxy resin-based root canal sealer paste
  • System: Two pastes with a 1:1 mixing ratio
  • Composition: Epoxy resin, amino resin, inorganic filler, calcium tungstate and excipients
  • Setting time: Approximately 3 hours (according to EN ISO 6876)
  • Use: Permanent teeth

Applications

  • Root canal filling of permanent teeth with gutta-percha points
  • Root canal filling with paper points
  • Endodontic procedures using lateral condensation techniques
  • Endodontic procedures using vertical condensation techniques
  • Sealing with thermal methods

Directions for use

  • Mix the two pastes in a 1:1 ratio using a mixing tip or manually on a mixing pad until a uniform color is obtained
  • Prepare, rinse and dry the root canal before application
  • Apply the paste using a Lentulo spiral or on a sterile paper point and introduce the material into the canal
  • Complete the filling by lateral or vertical condensation of the gutta-percha
  • For retreatment, the material can be removed using Canal Clean or methylene chloride

Warnings

  • Check for even dispensing with a small amount of product before first use
  • Strictly follow the 1:1 mixing ratio for optimal performance
