Level of disinfection
The Romanian technical rules on cleaning, disinfection and sterilization, approved by Minister of Health Order no. 1761/2021, distinguish three levels. High-level disinfection destroys vegetative bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycobacteria and most bacterial spores and cannot replace sterilization; intermediate-level disinfection has no effect on bacterial spores, and low-level disinfection has no effect on mycobacteria either (art. 1). Sterisol, Oxoklin, Dezicon, Peroklin and Oxoklin Powder are presented as high-level products; the concentration and contact time for each effect are in each product's technical sheet.
Large sizes and cases
For high usage, many Klintensiv products also have a case option on the same page, of 12, 20 or 30 units depending on the size, and Sterisol and HypoKlintensiv also come in 10 l and 20 l canisters. Concentrates are diluted to the concentration in the sheet, so a 5 l canister makes much more working solution than its own volume. Klintensiv hand sanitizing gel also comes in 1.2 l cartridges, in cases of 12.

Frequently asked questions
Does high-level disinfection replace sterilization?
No. The technical rules approved by Romanian Minister of Health Order no. 1761/2021 state explicitly that high-level disinfection cannot substitute for sterilization. Instruments that must be sterilized go to the autoclave after cleaning and disinfection.
Do you have a footwear disinfectant?
Yes: a 100 ml KlinAll spray for the outside of shoes, which according to its sheet can be used on leather, textile and synthetic materials, and a Klintensiv spray with ethanol, isopropanol and chlorhexidine for the inside and outside.
How do I disinfect an air conditioning unit?
With a product made for it: KlinAll for air conditioning is ready to use and, according to its sheet, cleans and disinfects indoor units. Compatible materials (aluminum, copper, plastic, painted steel) are listed in the sheet.
Which disinfectant is applied by fogging?
Desogen Aero (Klintensiv), for surfaces, as a dry mist, used neat or diluted, with no wiping or rinsing after application. Bionet A15 (GM2000) is a concentrate that can be applied by wiping, fogging or spraying.
