Absorbable Polyglycolic Acid Sutures for Veterinary Use

The absorbable sutures here are violet polyglycolic acid (PGA), covering sizes from USP 5/0 to 3. Most are 75 cm long with a round, Tapercut or cutting needle on a 1/2 or 3/8 circle; there are also 150 cm sutures without a needle and a 25 m SMI spool, USP 1, for veterinary use. From 61.71 lei.

Frequently asked questions

Which PGA sutures are available in size 4/0?

With a 30 mm 1/2 round needle, an 18 or 24 mm 3/8 Tapercut needle and a 16 mm 3/8 cutting needle.

Why is the thread violet?

The product sheet says the thread is dyed violet so the suture is visible.
