Blood Pressure Monitors and Stethoscopes
Upper-arm blood pressure monitors for the practice and for home use: automatic Microlife and PRIMA models, some with Bluetooth or the AFIB function, and aneroid (mechanical) monitors from Microlife, Boso and PRIMA, with or without a stethoscope. The category also has stethoscopes, a spare cuff for larger arms and fingertip pulse oximeters. Below are all the products (19), with prices from 21.77 lei.

Automatic monitors: how the models differ
Automatic upper-arm monitors inflate the cuff themselves and display blood pressure and pulse. The models differ in memory, connectivity and the functions declared by the manufacturer:
| Model | Memory | Connectivity | From the product sheet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microlife BP B1 Classic | 30 readings | – | PAD (irregular pulse detection), Gentle+, mains adapter included |
| Microlife B2 Basic | – | – | arrhythmia detection, average of all readings, traffic-light indicator, 22–44 cm cuff, adapter included |
| Microlife BP B3 AFIB | – | – | AFIB, MAM, for people aged 12 and over |
| Microlife BP B3 BT | 2 × 99 readings (2 users) | Bluetooth, Microlife Connected Health+ app | Smart MAM, Gentle+ |
| Microlife BP B6 Bluetooth Connect AFIB | 99 readings for 2 users | Bluetooth, PC cable and software | AFIB, MAM, Gentle+, 22–42 cm cuff |
| Microlife WatchBP Office ABI (professional) | – | USB cable | automatic measurement on both arms, ankle-brachial index (ABI), AFIB, MAM, rechargeable batteries |
| PRIMA electronic upper-arm monitor | 120 readings | – | digital display, battery powered |
AFIB is the Microlife function that flags a possible irregular rhythm suggestive of atrial fibrillation during measurement. It does not replace a diagnosis: the BP B3 AFIB product sheet states that atrial fibrillation is confirmed by a doctor with an ECG.
Aneroid (mechanical) monitors
- Microlife AG1-20: a kit with the monitor, a stethoscope and a pouch; 0–300 mmHg scale, ±3 mmHg accuracy between 18 and 33 °C, a ring for fitting the cuff with one hand.
- Microlife AG1-40: gauge mounted on the bulb, push-button valve for controlled deflation, stethoscope included, 22–32 cm cuff.
- Boso (Söhngen): no stethoscope; 60 mm gauge, 2-in-1 tube, overpressure and shock protection, zip case.
- PRIMA: manual monitor with a gauge, no stethoscope, 23–32 cm adult cuff, ±3 mmHg accuracy.
For the models without a stethoscope you choose one separately: the category has dual-head stethoscopes (PRIMA Dual Head, Microlife ST-72), Sprague-Rappaport stethoscopes (PRIMA, Microlife ST-77) and the Littmann Cardiology IV.
Cuffs and pulse oximeters
The cuffs supplied with the devices cover 22–44 cm on the B2 Basic, 22–42 cm on the BP B6 and 22–32 cm on the AG1-40. For arms of 30–42 cm the category has the Moretti cuff, and Microlife S (17–22 cm), M-L (22–42 cm) and L-XL (32–52 cm) cuffs are under blood pressure cuffs. The fingertip pulse oximeters, for adults and for children, display oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse; the product sheet states they are not intended for continuous monitoring. Thermometers are under thermometers, and all Microlife products on the Microlife brand page.
Frequently asked questions
Which blood pressure monitor is used in a medical practice?
For manual measurement with a stethoscope, aneroid monitors are used, for example the Microlife AG1-20 or AG1-40, which include a stethoscope. For automatic measurement there are upper-arm monitors, and the Microlife WatchBP Office ABI is the professional model that measures both arms automatically and calculates the ankle-brachial index.
What does MAM mean on Microlife monitors?
MAM (Microlife Average Mode) means the device takes three successive automatic measurements and displays their average. It is available on the BP B3 AFIB, BP B3 BT, BP B6 Bluetooth Connect AFIB and WatchBP Office ABI.
Which monitors connect to a phone or computer?
The BP B3 BT and BP B6 Bluetooth Connect AFIB transfer data via Bluetooth; the BP B6 also has a PC cable and software, and the WatchBP Office ABI connects by USB cable.
Do the aneroid monitors include a stethoscope?
The Microlife AG1-20 and AG1-40 include a stethoscope. The Boso (Söhngen) monitor and the PRIMA manual monitor are sold without one.
